FAQ

What is laser tag, what is "mobile" laser tag, and is it safe?

It is safe! Laser tag is an exciting game where players are equipped with "taggers" (see images on our Equipment page) used to eliminate opponents by aiming an infrared signal at their opponent's sensors (located on the taggers and headbands). The infrared signal is completely safe and are used most commonly in remote controls. "Mobile" laser tag means we bring everything for the game, including obstacles for the arena, to your event! All equipment is cleaned and sterilized after use. Players are given a safety briefing before each game, and a private referee will be on site at all times to ensure a safe, fun experience; not only is the game safe, but it's a healthy way for players to get a workout!

When can we play, where can we play, and how do I book?

Our taggers work in daylight and darkness, and our arenas and equipment can be set up in any area (backyards, parks, even indoors), but it's the responsibility of the party host to obtain permission for the location of the event. Refunds will not be provided in the case that an event cannot proceed because the host did not secure proper permission. Check availability and schedule your event at the Book Event page.

Is the equipment heavy?

We do not use the heavy vests often found in indoor laser tag! All players are equipped with a lightweight but durable headband, and we carry two sizes of taggers to best-fit the players.

What ages can play? How do you adapt the game to different ages?

We require players to be at least 7 years of age. The game session is customized based on your parties age group and skill level to ensure that every player is within their abilities, while also maximizing the thrill of the game. For instance, younger children could have an auto-reload function enabled and friendly fire disabled, while expert players could have limited ammunition and a "bleeding" effect after being hit. All players will be trained in a pre-game briefing on how to use the equipment and play.

What if players have different skill levels? Are there different game modes?

We customize each session to your party's specific needs. Settings for each team or individual can be adapted to provide bonuses (such as extra health or automatic reload) or disadvantages (such as weaker weapons or slower respawn) to even the playing field, at the request of the party host. Our priority is that every player is enjoying the game!

Is there anything I need to know as the host?

We will arrive up to an hour before the scheduled event to prepare the equipment and the arena, and require that the host or a stand-in attendee over 18 is there on our arrival. If the host has a stand-in attendee, this must be communicated with us prior to the event. Delays in being able to set up the arena could cause reduced play time, and we want to ensure everyone can maximize their play time! Additionally, if minors will be on site, we require that the host or a stand-in attendee over 18 is present at the location at all times.

Will I need a waiver? Where can I access the waivers?

All participants are required to sign a waiver (minors will need a parent or legal guardian's signature). Waivers can be accessed on our Waivers & Legal page, allowing them to electronically sign on their computer or mobile device, so the host doesn't have to worry about getting physical signatures!

How far will you travel?

We will travel up to 100 miles from Petersburg, OH (zip code 44454). Any location outside of 30 miles will have a small Extended Area fee applied to cover travel costs.

How do you handle inclement weather?

In the case of inclement weather, the host will be contacted prior to us leaving for the event, and provided the opportunity to reschedule the event at a later time. If, however, the host opts not to reschedule and instead requests that we still arrive at the site, no refund will be offered if the weather does not permit a safe environment for the guests, staff, and/or equipment.

How long is a game/round? How many games/rounds can be played per hour?

Game rounds vary based on the game mode selected and the skill level of players. A typical round lasts between 10-15 minutes, with a break in between rounds to review scores. A normal session will have about 3 rounds per hour.

How much does it cost? How do I contact you?

All up to date pricing is listed on our Book Event page. For information on how to reach us, check out our Contact Us page.
